Cabinets and Flooring

Cabinets and Flooring

We import the cabinets and the flooring ourselves, so there is no distributor sitting between the factory and your kitchen.

That is the whole reason the pricing works. Most contractors buy cabinets from a supplier who bought them from an importer, and both of those margins land on your price. You are buying at the front of that line instead, so you can take the material away yourself or have us fit it, and either way you pay one margin instead of three.

The door line is Shaker, in six colors: white, light gray, navy blue, black, sage green and natural oak. Every door runs on soft close hinges as standard, not as an upcharge. Installation is quoted separately from the material, so you can take the supply and keep your own crew if that is what makes sense. Homeowners, commercial jobs and other contractors buying on a subcontract all buy the same way.

Judge the material in the room

Samples sit on the shop floor so you can put the finishes next to each other in daylight instead of judging them off a screen. It is worth the trip. Sage and light gray look like different cabinets under a window than they do under a shop light, and your kitchen has light of its own. Once the order goes in, the color you picked is the color you live with, so pick it standing in daylight with the doors in your hands.

Floors get decided the same way, against what the room does to them. Waterproof vinyl plank is the sensible choice for a kitchen, a bath, a basement or a rental, because a spill that would ruin an engineered floor does nothing to it. If the room sees water, or tenants, settle that question before you settle on a look. A floor you have to baby in a working kitchen is the wrong floor no matter what it cost.

How the job runs

  1. Free estimate You get a free estimate anywhere inside 100 miles of Seekonk, from a shop registered as Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor 213949 and Rhode Island Contractor GC-51642, both numbers you can look up before you call.
  2. Kitchen design Your layout is drawn and rendered in 3D before you order anything, so you see the kitchen you are buying.
  3. Finish selection You put the door samples and the floor side by side on the shop floor and choose in daylight.
  4. Written estimate The estimate names the material you are buying, down to the door color, so you are not approving a line that just says cabinets, and no more than a third of the price is due up front.
  5. Order and delivery The cabinets and the flooring come in on our own import order, with no supplier margin added between the factory and you.
  6. Pickup or install You take the material away and keep your own crew, or ours fits it, the same crew that stays on our builds from the foundation through the trim.
